I thought I would post here about my search in hopes of getting a better response.

I was looking on the ABB tape trading link and see if anyone has all 5 ABB 1996 from Chicago shows at the Riviera Theater on CD. I have been searching for all 5 for years.

Is it posiible to do a B&P or set up a way I can get copies from anyone out there. Please let me know.

Thanks Tucker

Maybe I'm gonna show my youth here (I'm 30 in March) but how in the hell were the ABB playing the Riv in 1996? REALLY??.....sh*t, I've jammed at the Riv before, this shocks me......were they just really not drawing well at the time? I lived in NC at the time, but I was seeing them in the early 2000's at the Chicago Theater which for those who live in the area know is a HUGE step up.

Just curious.

They were doing some Evening With shows in a few cities for multiple nights. I think WXRT broadcast one of the Riv shows or highlights maybe. They also did Tower Theater in Philly and Radio City Music Hall in NYC in 1995 - maybe others, but I'm not sure.

I missed those shows because my mom was having surgery at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota at that time. I know I have at least one of the shows, because I converted it from tape to cd many moons ago for Tommy Cash (Hi to all my friends!). I'll check my list tonight to see what I have.

Yeah, they played the big sheds here in chicago too back then.

The deal was the fans and the band and management all hated them playing The World Music Theatre, so they did 5 nights at The Riviera. I was at a couple of the shows...

They were LOUD. Man were they loud back then. I have at least 3 of the shows, but I don't think I have all 5. But it is quite possible I do have all 5. I am not home right now, so I'll have to check later. Please feel free to PM me to remind me... If I have them, I'll send you copies...

I attended 2 of them. Was up in the balcony both nights. It's really something to look around and see 3/4 of the people with their eyes closed just swaying to Dreams.

Will someone let me do a BNP or two, I aint no good at flac, and with the whole working in the hospital off the hook...now NC is consumed with Norovirus, I almost got quarantined Wed night, and with all my friends waking up dead, Found another DOA at home in bed, 53 y/o f , RN, MSN., which caused wifey to faint (they were homeys for 46 yrs) causing her to break an ankle and suffer enuf bruises and contusions that they only d/c her 'cause I'm an ICU/CCU RN...but I love those 96 shows...maybe can even trade...
I'm open to any suggestions. Peace and much thanks. John
