Ok it's the big day what is everyone fixing for food and drink. I'm going with the old staples plus a few extras. Besides all the munchies of chips and dip. Making Tacos with beef and vension, shrimp with old bay seasoning for my daughter and friends, the for a main course, slow roasted vension.

Keep that in the slow cooker for 6 + hours, slice it thin, throw back in the gravy for the last hour then serve on rolls.

Drinks, have some Octoberfest homebrew, variety of beers and Bloody Mary's cause we all want one!!

Enjoy the game!! Oh predictions.........the Giants.

No but I'm pretty sure they sell the sauce online. Of course, there's nothing like eating them there after a few beers and Jello shots!

I like the taco idea. Even though I made them the other night (just regular beef tacos), what the hell!

Don't really care who wins. I want an entertaining game. Then again, if it's boring, nothing like a good Sunday nap.

Im gonna try this burger recipe I saw as a change up.

1. Sear patties on both sides in a skillet.
2. Reduce heat, add a can of onion soup.
3. Cover and simmer till done.

Serve on large sesame buns, top with a slice of havarti, sliced banna peppers, and a bit of the soup from the skillet.

Plus will boil some shrimp and have chip and dip,

Well, we have some crackers and ham for an appetizer. I think my mom's gonna cook some chili and some baked chicken as well. Should be delicious. Even though I'm in Texas, I say the Giants will win!!

Spicy bison chili with plenty of black and pinto beans and garlic. Add an 03 Aussie shiraz ( torbreck ) with plenty of juice and fat to complement!

The Mrs. ended up making some tasty slider burgers. Nothing too heavy and easy to clean up.

Btw- this was a big hit for the burger lovers at my party.
Highly recommended.
