Has anyone heard if Moogis is doing the Beacon run this year?? With only 42 days left till the first show and not a peep out of the Moogis camp it's looking like a no go.

Was thinking the same thing. So no MOOGIS and now refund from not getting WANNEE last year. I think Butch should at least put our a statement.

No word on Moogcasting yet. Butch, please let us know we are very interested.

BTW there is an OCCUPY MOOGIS movement underway at the Forums on the Moogis site.

He did. When a company announces that it will not deliver a service for which it has been paid, it's the same thing as saying "we're history."

I hate it too. Moogis 2009 was probably the best music money I ever spent.

Pretty lame IMO for them to run and hide with no answers and no info after ripping off the people who paid for Wanee last year. Just a month before Wanee in those interviews during the break of the show they played on Dolan's MSG channel Butch was singing the praises of Moogis and how great it was and what it was gonna grow into and how they were excited about showing Wanee and blah, blah, blah. A month and a half later and they don't show Wanee, give lame excuses, don't give proper refunds for those who paid the extra, and now hide like cowards without explanation. IMO it is just wrong. Butch and Moogis are just lucky that they don't have vengeful fans because there are lots of folks out there who would probably take this to court to get reimbursement for services they paid for and didn't receive. I would have been ripping pissed had I bought the Wanee package and they canceled without reimbursement.

A fan need not be "vengeful" to expect what they pay for. I am patient, and hope butch & co. will do the right thing, but I for one, dont plan on letting my payment go unreimbursed if an obligation is not fulfilled. Just because I am a loving fan, doesnt mean I will allow myself to be ripped off. I very much hope to have MOOGIS in my living room on the nights I will not be @ the Beacon, and expect at the very least a full credit for my Wanee payment, and I would hope a "little something extra" for my patient endurance of having nothin for my money for 9 mos.

The first Beacon show is but 5 weeks away. Don't you think they'd be marketing it by now to raise cash to pay for the expenses? Time to accept that Moogis is not happening.

As for suing for $50 for Wanee? Not realistic. Moreover, Moogis is Net Music Communities, LLC, a limited liability company, meaning if the company has no assets, a judgment is worthless anyway.

I'm not here to bash Moogis or Butch, just wanted people to be prepared to accept the reality of the situation.

Don't hold your breath dude! We are two months out from the Beacon run and not a word anywhere from Butch or Moogis about the Beacon run or anything else. If they were gonna be doing the 2012 Beacon run they would have been taking money for it by now. Looks to me like Moogis is kaput and the only reason the site is still up is to allow those who bought in last year to view the archives which will probably disappear when last years subscriptions expire. I wouldn't hold my breath for any Wanee refund for last year.

This is devastating.

WHY DOESN'T MOOGIS JUST TALK TO THE CREW THAT WEBCAST PHISH SHOWS LAST YEAR??? They figured out how to do that on a pay-per-show basis and obviously were able to pay for it. Probably turn a profit too. Warren webcast Mountain Jam a couple of times.

No Beacon webcasts????

F$%^ng devastating.

Thanks and gratitude to Butch for making that happen for all those years he did.

being based in italy, moogis was the logic choice for me to watch last year beacon run.
I even managed to save a few $ as i cose the msg option which turned out to be cheaper.
I have to say once again that it was really good to watch all those concerts in the comfort of my living room. Really good video and audio quality for one of the best bands out there.
as somebody pointed out, moogis would be taking money/subscriptions by now if they were thinking of braodcasting this year run. it's really sad for me to think that the only possibility for me to watch some snippets of the abb at the beacon will be through low quality videos on youtube, it certainly ain't the same damn thing!

Yeah man, I hear you. I will make some kind of noise though. Its a pretty **** ty way to treat loyal fans / supporters. There should be some kind of compensation. Butch needs to step up, it was his baby and we funded it. $50 means alot more to me than to him, I am sure. Even if it is $50 x whatever, not fair to have this on our backs. It aint my cross to bear...

Just saw this on Moogis.com

The Allman Brothers Band will not be webcasting their annual Beacon Run this year. But Moogis would like to ease the pain for loyal subscribers. Instead of having the Moogis Archives expire at Midnight tonight (February 29), we would like to extend your current subscription for an additional month. We will communicate with you in the next few weeks to give you information about upcoming plans for Moogis. In the meantime, enjoy some of the great performances that Moogis has captured.

- Moogis Team

NUTS !!!!!!

If you paid by credit card, challenge it there.

I did, and got my money back.

But keep good records because the moogis people will lie about what happened. My CC company initially credited me, then charged me back when moogis lied about it, then credited me again when I provided 17 pages of proof (emails, passages copied from here, etc....).

Sad situation.

Got shut out of the Beacon sales, no Moogis this year and after last years Wanee situation I expected more from the Brothers! I guess this is just another good thing on the way out, like so many other good things. Sorry for complaining, but it's just how i feel. To all going to the shows, enjoy!
