There are crappy ideas in all the candidates. Ron Paul is controversial for many reasons and the factors that make mainstream and status quo Republicans slam him are very apparent to anyone who follows these things.

I don't like all of Paul's platform wholesale, but then again I have never liked all of any candidate. Some of Paul's ideas I would be firmly against, but bottom line, he stands and promotes some of the real changes this country needs to undergo. He will not be elected President, but even if he was he would still have to work with Congress with what would likely be a divided Republican congressional body that would not support him. So the impact of some of his radical ideas would be muted quite a bit, but what it would give us hopefully is a push in the right direction on many issues. Mainstream Democrat and Republican candidates are going to give us more of the same, if you think the future of our country looks strong based on what major R and D Presidential candidates have given us then you can continue to vote for them. I do not think the path that any of our Presidents of the last 30 years have put us on leads to a stronger nation. A guy like Ross Perot or Ron Paul is what our country needs in my opinion.

But Paul will not and can not win. Maybe just maybe, if you could package his message in a more consumable candidate such as Romney for instance he would have a better chance. He would still have the establishment fighting hard against him, but I am convinced that Ron Paul brings a popular and necessary message, but he is not the right messenger to be a serious challenger in today's Presidential elections. He would not fare well in a debate vs President Obama. Paul has to ramble for a bit in the debates, often straying off topic, until he zeros in on an applause line. Flat out simply put, he is just not electable.

Though not as severe as a wolf attack, you do not want to be attacked by a fox. Especially if you're an old politician...

Unless of course it's Megan Fox.

I admire Paul's courage of his convictions.....however I don't like his 'convictions' one bit and electing him would be a serious step backwards for a number of people, including women in general. Of course the rest of the candidates who want less government everywhere except in a woman's reproductive organs is a step backwards too.

Careful, don't spread dangerous stereotypes about foxes being aggressive. Wildlife protection groups may go after you with a petition campaign.

quote:
A recent DIRECTV advertisement shows a lone man beset by wolves, brutally fighting them off as they attack. The commercial is meant to sell a product, but it does it at the expense of spreading dangerous stereotypes about wolves that can cause real harm to this already threatened animal.

Wolves across America are in more danger than ever right now, with Idaho considering aerial gunning of wolves and the federal government considering shoot-on-sight policies for much of Wyoming, including national forests.

DIRECTV's dangerous commercial propagates the myth that wolves are dangerous man-killers and fuels anti-wolf sentiments in popular culture at a crucial time for wolf recovery.

Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund is working to protect wolves and the vital role they play in the natural order.

Speak out now to save these wolves. Please stand with them today and sign to ask DIRECTV to stop spreading anti-wolf sentiments just to sell a product!

Thanks for taking action!

What's that about judging a man by the company he keeps?

Ron Paul with former American Nazi Party member and current KKK Grand Wizard and Stormfront.org webmaster, Don Black.

Why didn't Ron Paul, the revolutionary candidate, go after Romney last night?
