Been listening to few shows - particularly Knoxville and Brimingham nights. Tremendous playing. A peak tour for this lineup. Excellent music. Derek was on fire for this run and Gregg in fine voice.

The second Chicago show is pretty stellar. I've seen the ABB 35 times and it was one of my favorite shows. Something that was confirmed when I bought the cd... the drums a bit low in the mix, which brings down the dynamic a bit. And Warren had a cold, which you can hear in his voice, but it doesn't detract from the absolute killer performance.

I would have never guessed that 40 years after the formation of ANY band that they could be playing some of their best shows.

I saw them in Dallas on this tour, and that was a great show. They played 12 songs, but played close to 2 hours. They love to stretch those songs out live. And I to agree that Derek played great!!

Saw the 2d B'ham show. Killer Mtn Jam w/ Col Bruce's Smokestack Lightnin' within it. Would have gone to the 1st one, but I had faith there would be an Atlanta show, and we all know how that turned out.

The Merriweather show from that tour was fantastic too. They blew the roof off that place.

Saw the Nashville show & loved the addition of Bruce Katz that year.....
