FedEx has vowed to track down the deliveryman who was caught on video carelessly tossing a computer monitor over a fence during a delivery.
Company spokeswoman Shea Leordeanu would not say what would become of the employee once they find him, but added: 'This won't be his best day.'
The hilariously sad clip of a FedEx delivery man chucking the computer monitor has attracted nearly 200,000 viewers on YouTube in a single day, many of whom expressed fears that their holiday packages would be treated with the same regard.

It had the bigsby busted from being dropped on it's end. Sheared off the hinge.

The guy is being scapegoated for doing what all driver's have to do. UPS and FedEx put lots of pressure on their drivers to get deliveries done insanely fast. If you think any of your fragile stickers are read and obeyed, think twice. It's not only the delivery guys that mis-treat packages.

If the owner of the house didn't have a gated driveway the delivery guy could have come to the door...

A bunch of other people get to throw your monitor around before this guy.

I was being offered a job once by a major Walmart type company to run their warehousing at various stores. I go for a visit and the first truck I see arrive is loaded in a fashion straight out of a comedy. Few skids used at all and boxes loaded loose and stacked to the ceiling of varying size and weight. No concern for what was on top of what. A skid of canned soup on top of glasses and TVs. I then watched the shippers climb this mountain and start throwing the boxes onto the loading dock. No concern at all about supervisors or who the hell I was. Listening to things smash and them laugh.

Went to the next store and the exact same thing happened. Passed on the job.

Lots of people beat your stuff up.

I am sure it landed on some soft bushes

The Fedex Dude ran up the driveway yesterday to deliver a package yesterday.

I used to sell some very delicate photo-negatives used in the printing process and now sell specialty lightbulbs up to 60inches long. You learn how to package to withstand everything but nuclear war.

I once had UPS try to delivery a 40 inch tube made with 3/8 inch thick corrugated (that's pretty thick) that had tire marks up and down the tube. Even my customer had a good laugh about that one.

'The sad part is that I was home at the time with the front door wide open. All he would have had to do was ring the bell on the gate,' the YouTube user who uploaded the clip wrote in the description.
'Now I have to return my monitor since it is broken.'

The guy got a nice pink slip for Christmas plus the ridicule of being known as a lazy bastard at his job. At least maybe any other delivery assclowns will think twice before acting in such a callous way with others possessions.

I can't complain about the FedEx and UPS guys who bring our things to the door. They've been really good about the deliveries and fortunately our sensitive equipment has mostly made it here unscathed. That guy deserves everything FedEx dishes out!

Not ALL UPS people do that and as an unloader for UPS Worldport 2nd day air I take some offense to that generalization. Yes there are some people that don't give a sh!t just like any other workplace in America. The people I work with in my area do an outstanding job handling your shipment. At UPS Worldport if you want to get in trouble throw a package. If you want to get fired steal something.

I am not a spokesman for UPS, just my opinion based on what I've seen during my time working there.

Dumb. Plain stupid. Lazy. Ungrateful.
I think that covers it.
That describes this guy who lost a really good job with FedEx.
Most employees of FedEx, UPS, USPS, and that other one with the yellow truck, I believe do the right thing.
You always have a few in any job who don't care or follow rules or act right.
they usually, hopefully, don't last long.
This lost a really good job with FedEx that many people wish they had. In these ahrd times, he did what? Stupid.
Some lucky person will get that good job and, and do a good job, be very smart, grateful, and happy.

i worked for fedex for 20 years..7 years as driver..the remainder in some type of supervisory role..i know what it's like when your truck's jammed and you can barely get around in the back..i've been there but this guy was way out of line..he didn't try to get a signature nevermind that he didnt even ring the bell..i bet the video was played at the beginning of every shift..if i was his manager he would be fired for damaging the fedex brand..end of story

Just had a printer delivered by UPS today. This was the first thing I thought of when I saw it sitting there.
