Have to admit it has got very quiet here on the forum due to lack of ABB shows. I purchased both Jaimoes and POA new cd's .They are very very good especially jaimoes.POA gets a little zoney at times but I still like it. Hopefully 2012 will bring good fortune to forum members and the ABB (especially Gregg). I wish we could talk about a ABB album coming out but what you gonna do? At least mule+TTB will be vital this year.it is a little sad to see Dickey and Gregg getting old and fading .

Usually the site gets juiced this time of year with the announcement of the Beacon Run. Without that we will die on the vine - remember 2008.

I keep checking my stocking (inbox) to see if there are any nice Peach-o-grams. It is quiet! I really enjoyed the Boston shows, and at the same time was a bit sad. Is this band coming to a close? I've listened to some shows from 04' and the sound and pace are different, not in a bad way, just different. I really hope Gregg has a good year, takes some time to rest up between now and the Beacon run and is ready to gear up for a summer tour.

He's usually up north in the winter (why I don't know, but I've enjoyed several shows at Penn's Peak in Jim Thorpe, PA) but this year he is down south. Hopefully the warmer climate will keep the respiratory issues from flaring up. it's too cold up here to be going from warm to cold and back & forth all the time. the poor bast@rd will catch pneumonia up here.

Ha ... I almost put that schedule up ... and probably would have added a similar comment.

And yes, I hope along w/ jfk2112 that the milder climate is kinder to him and he manages to stay healthy. Another bout of pneumonia would be, I fear, very bad. I will miss seeing him @ The Ram's Head this January, though ....

The fact there is no discussions regarding Butch's comments about Ed King speaks volumes about where this place is going.
