hey everyone,
our holiday issue has shipped from the printer, and you should be seeing it real soon - #71 includes a first-rate cover story on Widespread Panic's 25th anniversary, as well as features on Rich Robinson, John Scofield, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Brian Wilson, and the up-and-coming Blackberry Smoke - there is a great deal of variety in this one, so we hope you enjoy some long, relaxed hours of informative reading - Merry Christmas to all of you from all of us at HTN; thanks for your support over the last 20 years
JL

Sweet! I didn't know that you were gonna be in this one, or I would have re-uped my subscription already! This one will make a great addition to my music room memorabilia!

Guess I'll look for this one in the mag rack at Barney Nobles. I haven't received an issue since I re-upped (for a 2-year sub) about a year ago. I did get a letter telling me it was time to renew ... again. Filed that one in the vertical bin.

This new subscriber (who received it as a Christmas present from a very special sweet lady around these parts) is VERY happy and I was doubly blessed with dear Joe sending me some back issues just, as he said, because......

Going through my "memorabilia" box looking for some pictures to send a friend for Christmas, I came across Issue #26 with Duane on the cover and when Bill Ector was just a little Assistant Editor). I'm wondering what's become of the rest of the folks on the masthead that we don't hear from anymore.

HTN, You've come a long way baby; but I know why I kept this particular issue...it had the Crawdaddy interview with Duane that Kirk discovered (he is sort of our very own Christopher Columbus when it comes to "discovery", bringing together the old and the new world.

Have a wonderful holiday to you and Vicky.

Books A Million carries HTN. they like to call themselves BAM but I can't get into that. they are now at several old Borders locations. no, I don't work for them, but since I usually do a review or two in HTN I like to know who carries the magazine.

Still haven't gotten my issue, and I leave at 6AM Friday for FL. Guess I'll have to wait until I get back from FL to read it.

we were so pleased and honored to have an all-time legend like Brian Wilson grace the pages of HTN; all credit goes to Tony Sclafani for making it happen - glad you enjoyed it so much!

12/29 and still no HTN in Bflo.

I never know when my subscription runs out, or is about to. I guess I'll wait until after the new year and shoot an email to HTN.
