Found out the Romantics are playing a free show tomorrow night here in town. I may go but it is outdoors so we shall see.

Ahhhh! Sweet white! Ever tried a Late Harvest Reisling?

I don't think so..I really don't know anything about wine. Got this when I went to a wine tasting fund raiser awhile back.

Lots of nice sweet wines out there. I drove the Wine Road in Alsace, France once. Two days of what felt like gallons of sweet white. Heaven.

does sound heavenly..wine heaven

I should put that on my bucket list.

Ok, after this game I'm gonna choose betwixt the ABB Beacon disc or a View From The Vault GD show. Hmmmmm.

I put a hold for the View From the Vault from 91 at the library. That series was cool wish they would bring it back. So I guess Id put on some Dead

I have all 4. My favorite section is on VFTV 1, the Standing On The Moon>He's Gone>KY Jam. The China>Rider before it is epic as well. A monster second set all the way around. SBDs on archive.org I do believe, 7/6/90.

May have to look it up later. Been listening to alot of Brent era shows lately, to these ears that era is probably there best vocally and had some killer shows. Wish I had a time machine to go back and see 1.

There is a village in Alsace that every fall for their harvest festival, wine flows from the fountain in the town square for three days. All you do is walk up and fill your glass as needed.

Yes. That is true.

If you are in a Brent phase then make sure and check out '79. The energy he brought to the band was insane. Also, the next time you go on a GD binge, check out the Alpine Valley 3 day run in '89. The performances of the songs capture the Brent era in its peak. All IMO, of course.

Last time I had wine it didnt end well. Went to a party and when we got back to the apartment all there was, was this bottle of wine which was some white one. Well me and my buddy split the bottle. Went to bed and a few hours later got up to go to the bathroom and just out of no were puked all over the bathroom . Morale of the story I should text the girl who gave me the bottle and drove us to the party

Listened to all 3 of those one day a while back. I dont think the people in the dorm next door liked it to much. Listening to Cracker and LOS do Eurotrash Girl, rumor is Jerry liked that song (according to the guy in Cracker). I think next is an 85 show (going one year at a time so next show after that is 86) though 79 is good especially some of the Shakedown Streets. I like it all even if the later years werent as good they are enjoyable to listen to (IMO of course) but were else do I get to here Lazy River Road, So Many Roads, If the Shoe Fits, Samba in the Rain, Unbroken Chain, Broken Arrow, Corrina

So my brother-in-law looks in our frig yesterday. We have a full compliment of beverage choices.

Someone who we had over this summer brought Schlitz.

We have better options.

He polished off the last two bottles of Schlitz.

I think my exact words were "What the eff is wrong with you?".

Very eerily weird quiet day on Broadway. I suppose everyone is getting ready for amateur night.
