There were some severely intoxicated people at that event. They were still selling beer at 2:00 am.

We stayed at the Downtown Inn and it was still 170 bucks. It's a 70's era Days Inn type. But walking distance to everything and clean. Have stayed there before. We debated on staying somewhere away from downtown and saving $100, but at 3:15 am we were glad we just had to walk a few blocks and collapse.

but can you keep goats in town?

Sounds like a great day of music, Alan. I've always wanted to check out a Christmas Jam.

Re: Goats and Asheville.

Asheville is a very eclectic little town. The downtown is a wonderful place with art galleries and boutiques, specialty beer stores, and even head shops. (A $900 hand-blown glass bong? It was beautiful...) The people are very liberal and there are some very eccentric people there. I love it. It's like where all the hippies have gone. The best example of the uniqueness would be a bumper sticker that we saw there a few years back.

Asheville: 50,000 lesbians can't be wrong.

The vegan PETA types would have a real problem with misuse of goats.

Subject: Warning about dating older women ...

Beware of Older Women

I'll confess,
You all know I've been pretty lonely lately!

I ended up with an older woman at a bar last night.

She looked pretty good for a 60-year-old.

In fact, she wasn't too bad at all, and I found myself thinking she probably had a really hot daughter.

We drank a couple of beers, and she asked if I'd ever had a Sportsman's Double?

'What's that? I asked.

'It's a mother and daughter threesome,' she said.

As my mind began to embrace the idea, and I wondered what her daughter might look like, I said, 'No, I haven't.'
We drank a bit more, then she said with a wink, 'tonight's your lucky night'.

We went back to her place.

We walked in.

She put on the hall light and shouted upstairs:

'Mom...you still awake?'
