Kitty swoops in to take the first PTOR of MT22
A dubious honor.
But an honor, nonetheless!

Happy Friday, MT! And MT22 has hatched, I see! Ahhh.... tradition.

Starting my 7 days of on call today and am working from home - snow on the ground but toasty inside and sun streaming through the windows here. And it's a quiet day after weeks of craziness! Think I'll turn the beeper up and see if I can get lights and decorations on this tree sitting in my living room while I 'work' (about time since it's been sitting here naked since Sunday!). Hope all are having great days!
Deb - we're thinking of being at the Raccoon Brewery at about 5:00 on Tuesday for drinks and eats before Bob Seger. Please join us if you can.
Got it on my calendar, Kitty, and will see if I can drag Kim away to join us. Hope to see you Tuesday!

Excellent! My whole clan will be there as well as my brother, John, whom you've met and also his girlfriend.

I would just like to apologize for mocking Geddy's high pitched vocal capabilities. I will not bring it up again this year. It was rude of me. If someone said something negative about Freddie King I would probably get upset.

Small brewery. I think they have four kinds available, an IPA, a wheat beer and one other I can't recall. Brewed in Manhattan Ks I think.

I don't think I'd ever buy a beer with that name! However, I don't drink beer or buy it. HAHAHA

What about Bob Seger?

Ok, I see, Bob Seger is a tranny! (Kitty, I didn't say that, it was Hawk)
I don't know what a tranny is. Trainee, maybe? (I never forget the wink.)

Same here. I have not seen him live yet.

You're in for a treat.

I've seen him twice. Dec.2010, Nov.2011.
He is spectacular!
He can be funny too, but usually making fun of himself. Not a lot of talking.

It was a respectful audience. No hooting and hollering(after all it was Palm Beach)!
No chatting going on in the audience either. We were spellbound!
One guy in the balcony yelled,"I love you, Joe"!
Lots of applause and whistling at the end of each song.

Joe played without a break for two solid hours. He really took us for a spin.
His band took a 20 minute break.
Don't miss him if you have the chance.

When you are out, try Dunkin Donuts Coffee. Much better in the store.
Not so great in the bag made at home. Not joking!

I would be offended as well. Freddie is A #1 in my book. Hence my apology to Yerry from the beginning. I really can't stand Geddy, but I love Yerry, so there you have it.

He was on Aqua Teen?

All joking aside I wouldn't know him if I was standing right next to him. A couple years ago someone was joking about his vocals and it just kind of stuck with me. Didn't even know Geddy's name until then. The only Rush song I've heard was the Tom Sawyer one and another I can hear the melody but don't know the words. Sooo anyway I'm really talking out of my a$$ when it comes to Rush. Sorry to the Rush fans out there if I really did offend anyone.
