Get out! I'm going Saturday...

First time they've announced a set list in advance?

Wow, sort of gimmicky, since it was just done 3-12-11. We pretty much knew it was a given, but it was not officially announced prior to. This show must be snake-bit sales-wise.

Yeah, I was curious and pulled a single seat 126 in BB.

Too bad I can't go.

Gregg was on WZLX, a local Boston radio station and i believe he said they are playing FIllmore in its entirety on the 29th and Eat a Peach in its entirety on the 30th...
wonder who is going to sing Blue Sky, not sure if they have played that with the new lineup (minus the teases).

Gregg has sung Blues Sky a couple times, in 2006 or so when they did Eat A Peach for XM Radio's Then Again Live show. It's on at least on Instant Live I have too.

arrgh, Had tickets for Sun, in philly, which was moved to Fri. but 1 in our party couldnt go
(and who really wants to be in philly on black friday) so we had to switch to sat. Been frustrated with the date changing ordeal and now I find out this is what I miss. If the do the peach or even blue sky on sat in philly, all will be forgiven

Isn't that pretty much what they've always done ? Give or take a few numbers ?

Just kidding, sour grapes for me, my chances of ever seeing the ABB again are
pretty slim unless they hit the left coast.

I am a huge Dickey guy and to me its does not feel right hearing Blue Sky without Dickey. But in the context of doing the whole Eat A Peach album I have no problem with that at all.. I saw the band do the Eat A Peach album at the Fox theatre in Atlanta what a great bunch of shows they were at the Fox.

How many club bands play Blues Sky every night without Dickey....It's just a song. They play Stone me without Van Morrison and the Weight without Robbie Robertson

Its not just a song to many fans and to Dickey. Van Morrison and Robbie Roberson where not founding memebers of the ABB. That would be like Dickey on the road singing Melissa. Just don't sound right.

I'm a Dickey guy as well, let the current band play Blue Sky. Those two guitars going at it, sure sound sweet to me.

I'm excited about the EAP part, the Fox 2004 show where they did it was a fantastic one.

I'm glad I got tickets for Saturday since I saw them do Fillmore East at the Beacon this year. I thought they pretty much play Fillmore East all the time too, but I looked back at 11 shows from 2010 and at several shows they play 3 of the 7 tunes on the album but once in a while it's only one or 2. The average was 2.28 songs. If you throw in Eat A Peach tunes from the Fillmore like Mountain Jam, One Way Out, and Trouble No More it goes higher.

I would like to hear 2.28 songs from each of the modern era albums from Seven Turns to Hittin' The Note. I also like their version of River's Gonna Rise. I'd like to hear them do Just Another Rider too. Enough with the 1st 4 albums already.

I'm pretty sure some people would have a problem with Dickey singing and playing Midnight Rider. My personal opinion is that Dickey has enough good tunes that he doesn't need to play Gregg's songs and vice versa.

I'm really looking forward to hearing Blue Sky in Boston. I think Warren should sing it.

I love how warren and Gregg sing a song together. Like the studio version of worried down with the blues, and the live Blind willie mctell.
