Thanks. I had looked before on youtube, but could not fiind it.
I just remembered Jaimoe. DA's daughter was so sweet and young and looks just like him.
GA's book will be interesting... RRHF was a major achievement for TABB or any group and a major personal turning point forever in GA's life. It will be interesting all of what he writes about night .

I remember seeing the band on Letterman performing "Midnight Rider", must have been the same week as this because it's the biggest Gregg has ever looked. You could tell something was up, so glad he turned it around.

Still, I love when he points to the audience for the response line on "One Way Out" and all you can hear are dessert spoons scraping plates and he just laughs it off. That ain't the Beacon.

Thanks for posting those links... I had never seen the uncut versions before...

A couple of things struck me...

Dickey was the first one after every speach to extend his hand in congratulations... brotherhood.

That was a damn fine band playing one way out that night!

Yes. I noticed that too. Kind of strange.

Wow, Gregg was in such a terrible state there, it's sad to look at those.

Galadrielle and Berry Jr's speeches were moving.

Looks like Dickey may have nodded to Gregg to take a solo. Instead of taking a solo, Gregg almost started into the last verse of the song. Dickey jumped in and saved the day. If Gregg sings the last verse there, that's a mighty abbreviated version. Just my view anyway.

Really crazy how bad Gregg looks here. And how good Dickey looks/plays. Its like they've traded places in the last 16 years. Wish them both the best of health.

Gregg was terribly bloated looking and by his own admission "drunk as hell". It was after he watched the introductory film sometime later that he saw the light and got help.
