the studio version of that is pretty good too. I like "blue sky" for old jams and "high cost of low living" for new

My favorite tune in concert is "Worried Down with The Blues". my favorite to hear on the radio is "Blue Sky". Would love to hear "Blue Sky" in concert again some day. Probably won't happen.
Be safe,
John

Too many favourite tunes to just pick one, so I'll go with my fave from Hittin' the Note: High Cost of Low Living.

This definitely changes from day to day.

Right now I can't seem to get enough of Ain't Wasting Time No More, Leave My Blues at Home, and High Cost of Low Living.

But my all-time favorites are Mountain Jam, Liz Reed, and Dreams.

Leave My Blues at Home--Idlewild South. Hands down!

Too bad its so short.........seems to me, thats a song they can jam on, huh?

The percussion is awesome.

The guitar work is so friggin tight!

That what I call.........Hittin The Note!

My answer is still the same: Blue Sky and Liz Reed

"Blue Sky" is their greatest original masterpiece.

"One Way Out" is their greatest cover.

Love Mountain Jam, Liz Reed, and Dreams from the original lineup.

Love Mountain Jam, Dreams and Wasted Words from the current.

From the new album, High Cost of Low Living, Instrumental Illness, Old Friend, Who To Believe, Rockin' Horse, ... let's just say I like it all.

I agree that Blue Sky is their greatest original masterpiece. Feel the same way about TMBWIAB more recently.
