They played it pretty regularly from '91 to 2000.
I'll be honest and say I think just about all the good originals/classics are in the setlist these days. I think they could stand to play the Hittin' the Note stuff more often, but I'd rather hear new originals or new covers than some of the songs listed here. ____________________ http://www.tylersmusicroom.org |

I tend to agree with Marley on this. But I would love to hear what Warren and Derek could do with Nobody Knows and Pegasus. ____________________ Chicago Black Hawks - next season.

If you said the most well known songs from their biggest selling albums (that Dickey didn't sing), than I'd agree with your sentiment.
As long as Nobody Knows; some choice cuts from Enlightened Rogues; High Cost of Low Living (rarely played); True Gravity; Win, Lose or Draw, and a couple of others are ignored by the ABB, I disagree. Those are some of my favorite ABB songs.

Right, I guess I took that for granted. But if you leave out the stuff Dickey sang, which they just aren't going to play, I just about all the available good stuff is already in the rotation. ____________________ http://www.tylersmusicroom.org |

I see what you mean Marley, but I think there is one possible "Great White Whale" left.
True Gravity would be epic with this lineup. If they played Kind Of Bird, another Betts/Haynes instrumental from that era, it seems at least theoretically possible that they could play True Gravity. If they did, it would be awesome, I'm sure of it.
That really is the last song I'm carrying a torch for, though. I respect and agree with the ABB's decision to steer clear of songs that Dickey sang, so True Gravity is the last "bustout" the Allman Brothers have left in their arsenal that would really blow my mind. |
