NOT GUILTY!

Absolutely UNBELIEVABLE...I'm speechless.

Rich, I too am dumbfounded. Not even the aggravated manslaughter charge or child abuse charge stuck either. Found guilty of providing false information to law enforcement. So who the F killed this little girl?

Maybe she can help OJ find the real killer.

How long before she shows up on celebrity Rehab on VH1.LOL

Seriously though, nothing?? 30 some odd days she does not report the kid missing and is seen partying during that time. Changes story multiple times and nothing. I guess there just was not enough evidence conclusive to tie her to it. Crazy.

They're saying that she might even be released for time served.

Jesus - her MOM should do time for blatantly LYING on the stand when she said SHE was "looking for chlorophyll" and "accidentally stumbled on chloroform" while googling.

I mean, can jurors really be that stupid? Shouldn't you have to have an IQ above imbecile level to serve on a jury?

Like the guy said outside the courthouse, "The rest of the world just saw how our justice system works" or something like that.....

That certainly is a possibility. Or, maybe we can blame the jurors....

She should watch her back. Her father is a former cop, who testified against her. I can only imagine what is going through his head.

Rich, to your point, how is the mom not being tried either? Itís almost like she is in on it too. The whole scenario you just mentioned was too much to watch. Like you say, are the jurors really that fcking stupid?

Chalk this one up to the "what the hell do I know" dept. I was sure a quick verdict was guilty. Especially since I was convinced. I can't believe 1 or 2 of the 12 were not convinced of something beyond lying, and could hold out for some compromise verdict. Crazy.

Just think of the wreckage this beeyotch has caused, EVEN IF (yeah, right) she was "not guilty"......accusing her dad and brother of incest, causing her mother to commit perjury, etc.

Now let's see how many marriage proposals she gets by courtroom celebrity groupies - and how long it is before whoever she marries winds up "mysteriously" dead.

I am stunned. And sickened at thoughts of the beautifull ittle girl who was duct tape bound, tossed into a garbage bag, and left to rot in the Florida sun. Gives new meaning to the phrase 'justice is blind'

I was not surprised at all. It seemed everything they threw up was all circumstantial evidence.

Do I think she was guilty, hell yeah. You still can't convict without real concrete evidence.

I am horrified but not surprised since I lived through the trial of O.J. Simpson who was so clearly and obviously guilty beyond ANY doubt and who was still acquitted. Never underestimate the ability of a jury to do something utterly ridiculous.

People are convicted every day strictly on the basis of circumstantial evidence. Remember Scott Peterson?

Although many innocent people are also convicted on that basis too....

I am going to preface this with; my post by no means is meant to imply that I think Casey is innocent.

However, I think the jury reached the right decision based on the case presented to them.

and sick to my stomach...

Maybe she and OJ can be pen pals...

Even if she admitted searching for chloroform, it doesn't PROVE murder. The state had the obligation to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt.....and they didn't.

I believe she's guilty....but i couldnt have convicted her on the evidence they presented.

It's too bad Joran van der Sloot is unavailable at the moment. They'd be perfect for each other.

I'd spring for the hotel room...

The prosecutor was arrogant and he may have alienated the jury. He also did not
have a cause of death. which makes it very hard to prove murder.

The defense did their job of pointing to the holes in the case. There was reasonable doubt.

She should be out, The Judge asked leadingly if there were any other issues to resolve.
And the defense attorneys were too shocked or too stupid to move that she be sentenced and released for time served. She is not going to get a misdemeanor sentence for more time than she has already served. The CNN analysis pointed that out. Now she has to wait until Thursday morning.

If anyone failed , it was the investigators and the prosecution for going forward with a bad case. The investigators were hampered by the defendant' lies, and she was found guilty on all four misdemeanor counts of lying to investigators.

But I don't blame a jury for having reasonable doubt with a shaky case presented to them.

I view the OJ verdict as an indictment of the LA Police and it's racism. Anyone With Mark Furman's record should never have been allowed on that crime scene.

Yet another high-profile case that will incite the closet vigilantes.

Now, due to "double jeopardy" laws, she can go on all the talk shows and tell freely how she did it & why.

Nevetheless, there was more than sufficient evidence to convict him. Fuhrman's racism was irrelevant to whether or not Simpson committed the murders and there was overwhelming evidence that he did unless you really believe that a racist police force planted all the scientific evidence to frame him.

She blamed her dad, blamed her mother, accused her brother and father of incest and ultimately boiled it down to my theory when she said the baby crawled up the ladder and drowned All along I said the kid did it and framed her mother! I know there were holes in the prosecution and I understand the verdict....sort of....but where is the justice for the little girl?
