I recently interviewed Todd Wolfe. His three piece band is reminiscent of bluesier Gov't Mule, Cream, Rory Gallagher, etc. He plays some cool slide guitar, has excellent original songs, and has a voice that perfectly fits his musical style.

I first heard of him when I saw him open for Dickey Betts in 2005. Dangerous Dan Toler came out during Todd's set for a fiery jam. I got to talking with Todd at the merch table. He was very friendly and I bought two CDs that I still listen to often. Check him out. He is sorely under-appreciated. His recent Todd Wolfe Band Live DVD/CD is full of blistering blues.

Had the pleasure of meeting and talking to Todd on a few occasions at his merch table. Seen him open for Mountain twice and one other time. Absolutely one of the nicest guys you'll ever come across and will be happy to talk as long as you want to. Have a few of his CD's and enjoy them a great deal.

Just picked up a couple of his discs this week. Borrowed time and Delaware Crossing. Very good indeed on the first few playbacks.

Is this the guy that played one of the pre-show parties at the Beacon Hotel in '07?

Have 2 of his CD's. "Live From Manny's Car Wash" from 1999 and "Wolfe" from 2001. Saw him live approximately 10 year's ago so i guess he was touring with that "Wolfe" release.
Great concert. Also dig his guitar work on earlier Sheryl Crowe releases and tours.

His CD before last called "Stripped Down At The Bang Palace" has some mighty powerful trio blues and his slide guitar, open tuned Delta blues-ish version of "Mississippi Queen" is on there too. It's excellent stuff.

I've been singing his praises for a while and I am very glad to see him getting an interview. Delaware Crossing is one of the best albums I own.
