apparently, spacemonkeys from Planet Ogo lay in wait in some mountain in France, willing to transport those escaping the doom that will befall mankind 21 December.

I suspect you bedouins will make the journey to France to escape the doom that comes in the form of the New England Patriots.

have a safe journey and a pleasant flight...

I suppose the people in the thread that DFC posted, the ones to which you are referring, are in fact on some foreign substance.

they are, after all, waiting for aliens to give them a ride to safety.

and you say I'm crazy just because I'm living with gina...

nice try.

but you can't hide.

as the draft approaches and we have a few early picks, let it remind you that your doom, though some time away, shall rise.

I have spoken.

Looking forward to the draft starting tomorrow. When did they start it on a Thursday? It had always been Saturday and Sunday.

Draft is always fun to watch for an hour or two each year. Waiting to see the dumb things Rex Ryan and Mike Tannenbaum do. Their stupidity is mind boggling. Maybe they will trade Sanchez to move up a pick!!!!

Pats'll trade away either pick 27 or 31 for two in a later round.

guaranteed.

(though I hope I'm wrong)

The 'Pokes made a good move up to get a quality pass rusher. Either Jerry Jones made a good move, the guy will be a terrific bust, or someone tied Jerry up and kept hm out of the war room. I'm going with number 3.

Not to jump on a fellow 'Boys fan, but that was the top rated CB in the draft that they traded up to get. An elite player in college by all accounts. I love the move. According to the press conference, he was the only player they would discuss trading up to acquire. The opportunity came and they went for it! It seems a 2nd round pick is a bargain for that kind of 1st round jump, as well. put this Claiborne kid back there with Carr, Jenkins, and Scandrick, and we have the ingredients to a pretty solid and deep CB group

Interesting first night. Too many trades to count.

I like what the Brownies did getting RB Trent Richardson & QB Brandon Weeden. Not sure why they felt the need to trade up one spot though. It's not like the Vikings were going to pick a running back. That seemed like a desperation move.

Vikings were smart. trade down one spot, got the guy they wanted and they still have 10 more picks.

Patriots had a good night as well.

Right you are Van. I was thinking they really need a pass rusher when I typed that. Still hope they can get one from somewhere to compliment DeMarcus Ware.

I wondered about this at first, but I think there were a # of teams trying to trade with the Vikings to get Richardson ahead of the Browns. The Browns didn't want to lose him. They were just boxing out the competition

Yeah, you are probably right. I saw an interview with one of the Browns front office guys and he basically echoed that.

Giants also used a draft pick to get Keith Rivers from Cincinnati

should help the pass coverage from the line backers , which NE exploited some in the Super Bowl. He can cover those TEs that Boley can't seem to keep up with.

I can't think of any reason to compliment DeMarcus Ware..........other than maybe that he's not as bad as the rest of the team...........
