I like all Dylan but if I had to choose one it'd be Desolation Row from Highway 61 Revisited

Girl From the North Country. I was pleased to see it is Keith Richards' too per the 70th birthday Rolling Stone Article. "Remember me to one who lives there." Who talks like that anymore? Only Bob.

Bob, did you watch Monaco? Awesome race.

great weekend for Indy and F1 Brock, I don't think J.R. Hildebrand will ever forget his first Indy.

Dylan once said to Keith Richards, " I could have written Satisfaction but you could never have written Desolation Row" .

Man, that's a tough one. So many to choose from. For me it's a toss up between "Tangled Up In Blue" and "Shelter From The Storm", without about 40 close seconds.

Over the Easter weekend I was in Paris (TX) and went to the Wal Mart with my brother in law. We went through the cut out bin there, he got some Cars and Randy Travis. I found "Highway 61 Revisited" for $5. 1965.....what a great album.

I second DougMacKenzie's comment about all the close seconds. Right now my favorite Bob songs are "Most of the Time" and "Don't Think Twice, It's All Right".

One beautiful cover:

My fave was "Blind Willie McTell" even BEFORE the ABB got their hands on it! While the version that Dylan released of this song (on the first of the Bootleg Series) is good, I really, really love the version that was left off, with Mick Taylor on slide. Haunting.

I also love "Highway 61 Revisited," "I'll Be Your Baby Tonight," "I and I," oh forget it, the list goes on...

I love that Maggie's Farm. I'll never forget getting my first copy of "Hard Rain" for free because my friend hated it. I enjoy the hell out of it.

That's a tough one........someone else mentioned Positively 4th St. and I love that, sarcasm like only Bob can do it. But my fave has gotta be Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues from Highway 61 Revisited. Weird title, and like a lot of Dylan songs, the title doesn't seem to have anything at all to do with the lyrics; only Bob knows. I love the music, and whether it's a true story or not (I prefer to believe it is), how can you NOT like a Dylan tale about going down to Juarez, Mexico, getting drunk on his ass on tequila and screwing some hookers?

The song I never tire of hearing is Tangled Up in Blue. Like A Rolling Stone is probably his most important song. Tombstone Blues is a favorite as is the somewhat obscure "On the Road Again" from Bringing it All Back Home. That is just the tip of the iceberg.

I can't narrow it down to 1, but I love that my name is mentioned in the lyrics of "Highway 61 Revisited"

"Well Georgia Sam he had a bloody nose
Welfare Department they wouldn’t give him no clothes
He asked poor HOWARD where can I go
HOWARD said there’s only one place I know
Sam said tell me quick man I got to run
Ol’ HOWARD just pointed with his gun
And said that way down on Highway 61"

also: "Stuck Inside Of Mobile With The Memphis Blues Again"
"Idiot Wind"
"Masters Of War"
"Subterranean Homesick Blues"
"The Groom's Still Waiting At The Altar"
