Last I heard there was still some kind of problem in the train tunnel, and a lot of trains from Long Island would be late, some cancelled today. The problem started with an Amtrak train that derailed on Monday, in the tunnel and they said last night, it wouldn't be totally fixed till sometime tomorrow morning, so expect delays.

There are express busses that go to 6th Avenue and 34 Street from many places in Queens. If you get stuck, head on over there to get out.

Great show!

Guest singer William Bell, co-wrote the song "Born Under a Bad Sign" with Booker T. Jones sang the song.

Two sets. No opening acoustic set. Warren opened the second set with four(?) acoustic songs.
Saw about half-a-dozen tapers.
Security up front were tough on people phone-video recording.
Show over 11:30 pm. I think it started no later than 8:15 pm?

No set list yet but, hell yeah last night was awesome !!

So many great songs. Love the new record and it was great to hear some of the old Tales of Ordinary Madness songs brought back to life. Great sound in the room last night also and yeah he went on at around 8:15, played a very long set, took a very short break, played an acoustic ( which was great - loved the Real Thing and In My Life ) set and then back to electric. So many paths taken last night. It's hard to describe. Just top notch in all aspects. Ended around 11:30. I'd say easily between 2 -1/2 - 3 hours of music total.

I liked how Warren and the new guys switched into Mule gear with Danny Louis for Doves Cry>Beautifully Broken.

Now I love the Mule. Easily the most consistently great live band I've seen but they've been kind of stale in the studio of late. Yes I've had crazier/higher times at Mule/ABB shows but last night and this new direction is such a great change of pace. Good crowd also !

I agree with everything you write except the time. I think the show ended more like 11:40-11:45 and it was easily three total hours of music. I find it hard to believe how Warren manages to raise the bar and thrill everytime he sets foot on the stage.

Comes from excellence and Warren's ability to inspire and make those onstage with him even better. Ego free musician which is rare.

Can't wait for tonight.
Walked by the Orpheum on my way to work and saw the tour busses there and the crew unloading the gear. Stuck around for five minutes hoping Warren would pop his head out of the bus, no such luck.

3 hours of music. Must have had quite a few covers i'd imagine.

Westbound service on the LIRR was suspended each day at Jamaica starting at 4:30pm. We decided to leave early so we were past Jamaica before that time. Turned out good because we went and hung out at Strawberry Fields for a while which the weather was just perfect for and then to dinner at the Amsterdam Ale House around the corner from the Beacon which was quite good!
