It's coming my way. Hope we are spared some of the horrible weather that Alabama and Mississippi got. Looks like Tn. is gettin hammered now.

Please take precautions. I've seen first hand what these storms can do.

Tornado watch until 2am. Send those safe vibes Miss Kitty. The skies look ominous and the humidity is wicked. High 80's with cool winds aloft. Scary situation.

Storm Prediction Center has a 45% tornado probability area in Mississippi and Alabama. That is insane.

In Eastern GA I am on yellow alert. I damn sure don't want any of what Rusty and Donna had in Birmingham. Check this video out.

Started storming here around 5:00AM. Rain got heavy and heard some hail, lots of thunder and lightning, but, fortunately, no high wind or tornado activity. About to head to work. Everyone be safe and have a great day.

I heard 30 people were killed and 4 to 500 taken to hospital in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. It hit 1/4 miles south of The University.

Thoughts and prayers going out to all who were affected by this ... hope the brothers and sisters from this site are all safe. News reports this morning are pretty grim.

Prayers for everyone affected. Very sad and sorry to see all this. I hope the gov't moves faster than they did with Katrina to rebuild.
