I think Obama and wife should just crash the party ...any thoughts......

Like the celebrity seeking couple that crashed one of their parties last year...just walk up and wave nicely for the cameras.....smile...bow nicely.....who not gonna let them in

I wonder how much Americans cared about Royal Wedding's 230 some years ago?!

Some of us don't really care about them now. I mean the last one didn't turn out so very well!

They should show up in bermuda shorts hawaiian Tee's carrying a 24 pack of keystone beer...some camel nofilters in his shirt pocket and some lottery tickets for a wedding present and a bag of nachos' cool ranch....they should pull up in an airstream painted like Dale Ernhardts car with a big air horn that plays god save the queen

LOL!!! A big X2. I'd actually watch, especially if they panned back and forth between that visual and the Queen's expression. Actually, I don't even know if she's still alive. Shows how much I pay attention to that chit.

She's alive and well; has good bloodlines and may just outlive Charlie. I was in London for her Silver Jubilee in 1977 - that means she's been Queen for 59 years now

What do you mean? Charles and Camilla have been happily married for years!

Is the President really not invited? This is an outrage! I bet his critics think so too. I'm sure they'd like to complain about his attending, and the cost.

Well, I hadn't really thought about Camilla but if I had, according to the tabloids in the check-out lane, that's not working out so well either....big surprise.

I'm a critic of his but I wouldn't have a problem with him attending. But I suspect every head of state in the world is not being invited to this. It's not a funeral.

She became Queen at 25. With her genes she has a chance to be the longest serving monarch in British history. She is probably there already.

For some of my friends, it sort of was!

I'm not really outraged. The invite is wholly w/in the discretion of the happy couple. Still, the US has a unique relationship w/ the UK. So, it would have been nice.

I'm sorry for Camilla and Charles that they couldn't get together before they ruined a perfectly kind young woman's life. As for their relationship now, I don't care. I happen to like Kate....she's been in William's life for the past 10 years so I figure there won't be many surprises. I don't see anything in her eyes other than intelligence and determination, qualities the wife of a future king needs.

I'll watch it. I'll probably cry too. It's a wedding.

Congrats to Prince William and Kate. May they have a blessed life together.

Hopefully they play some Allman Brothers at the reception too!

I just had an image of the Queen meeting Butch at the reception and saying "Are you the b**tard who send the fax to Dickey?"

I think the church only seats 2500 people so they had to carefully pick and choose who would come.

It's her demeanor, it's more like a common-er than a royal. Diana always had the presence and personna of someone regal, elegant and refined. I don't get that impression from Kate, who will be forever called Kathryn once they get married. There's also less respectability because she's been shacking up with him for 10 years, now she's supposed to be transformed into someone regal? A little bit of a sham going on here.

While she was alive Diana raised her son to be a man of the people. I don't see his relationship with Kate the same way you do. I see it as he's found someone who makes him happy and wants to marry her. As for shaking up for 10 years, that's still about twenty years less than Charles and Camilla.

I find the whole uproar just a big bag of wind much to do about nothing that changes anything in anyones lives but theirs....I wish them good luck but the whole concept of it even being such a large event is way over my head...but then again most of what is over talked about now in our current wave of culture is much to do about a whole lot of mybook spaceface twiddle-de-crap-ola anyway.....

Should no invitation be considered a snub of sorts or just good luck?

The POTUS requires a whole 'nother level of security wherever he goes. His attendance would be more of a burden than an honor.
