They did it with Leslie West at the Beacon on 4-5-07, the same night as they played All Along The Watchtower with Dave Mason:

It was a great night....one of the best ABB shows I've seen.

They did that song in Cleveland 13th July 1994. I believe in Cleveland Ohio. Maybe John Popper guested?

I felt the 3/20/09 show was very worthy of a double encore and figured Crossroads would have been perfect at that point in time. I caught moogis replay in a pretty distracted state for this 2011 version so I can't really comment on how I think it came off.

Leslie's tone wasn't meshing well with the band but other than that it was pretty good. It was definitely a Cream arrangement and nothing at all like Robert Johnson's. There's a Gov't Mule recording out there of Gregg Allman sitting in with them playing Crossroads. That's an excellent version to find.

I thought it was by Lynyrd Skynyrd?

Nope, it's a Raspberries song. Ronnie says so on the record.

Duane and Gregg (Allman Joys) recorded "Crossroads" in the mid 60's, inspired by (pre-Cream) Eric Clapton and the Powerhouse with Steve Winwood on lead vocal.
