Song doesnt sound right with Warren's voice. His voice is too gritty for it (although that style suits most other songs he sings). Saw them do it on last year's run and saw it in 2009 with Levon on it.

I have to say that when Susan T came out on Friday and sange Coming Home rather than The Weight I had tears of joy coming out of my heart. Love the song, but only with Levon

I don't care for their version of it either. "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down" works pretty well I think. If Gregg puts his heart into it you feel like you're in the moments of the song.

I'll put in a vote for the Aretha / Duane version and the Susan / Derek cover, and after that the ABB version.
