Hey gang, my first posting here, but have been lurking for a while.

Last night was my frist ABB show in 34 years. For many reasons, none good, I just haven't had the chance. The last time I saw ABB, was 4-21-77 Capitol Theater Passaic NJ with Delbert McClinton as the warm-up. Ackroyd and Belushi cartwheeled onto the stage that night and did , Hey Bartender and awesome night it was and last night was just as awesome as I went to this show with an old friend who I hadn't seen in over 27 years until last week. Lets just say he hasn't been able to see a concert since 1994 wink wink.

We had 6th row Left Center and my buddy was having heart flutters from the excitement before the show

Highlights for me were Stormy Monday and Dreams and watching Susan Tedeschi sitting stage right, getting all hot and bothered, staring and making faces at hubby as he wailed on Dreams. Greg's Vocals are as good as they ever were and hearing Scott Boyer sing All My Friends was a special treat! Been listening to the Live recording of the show I picked up after the show, all morning, Sunday Morning Coffee and The ABB on my stereo system from last night, It's a good day!

Hope to be around here more often
Peace!

Just some pics from last night

Great pics!

I've seen Sat-Mon-Thurs-Sat....every single show was great but last night (the 19th) was the bomb. Off the charts.

Way to go fellas.

PS...we got 3rd row center from the box office about 7.50pm. Keep in mind that the band/TM will almost always drop tickets during the day of the show in question. And some patience on line is usually rewarded for the first half dozen or so in line.

Really great photos! Thanks for posting them. Last night's show was my 3rd of the 2011 Beacon run. I was also at the first two shows. The energy level of both the crowd and the band was much higher than last weekend. I think the Brothers need a little time to warm up for the 13-show run at the Beacon. I can't wait 'till Saturday night when I get to go again!

Just bought the camera the day of the show. Nikon P7000 its a camera that rivals the Canon G12 Which is what I really wanted to get, but this model is being replaced and you can find it on Amazon for $360. I bought it as Best Buys for a little over $400. The Canon G12 goes for around $499.
I put the camera on manual setting Speed varied between 80 - 125 ASA 1600 Lens was wide open at 2.8. Camera has a 7x Optical zoo. I tried one shot into the Digital Zoom field and it became very "noisy" at 1600 in low light, so I quickly backed off that and used the max optical zoom at 7x

I was tired of bringing my D-SLR to shows and either having to check it because the dumb fools at the venues say "NO go that's a pro camera" I would plead saying 'there are people going into these shows with little cameras that take pics just as good and video better than a handheld" so I went and did some research as well as talking to Bob Gruen (Lennon New York t-shirt photo) who was wearing a G12 around his neck as he carried his PRO Canon D-SLR at an Alejandro Escovedo show I was at. I had the camera in my pants pocket!
