So I went to last night's show. It was incredible. I bought the cd. Right now I'm typing up the tracklisting for it while I'm listening, and what do you know? The encore is missing. They dont have it at all. 3 cds and I dont get to relive the Robert Randolph appearance on Thats What Love Makes You Do and One Way Out. Come on, guys. I dont bitch about the line that you gotta wait on after the show (the fact that we get to buy the CD the same night of the show, and that it's such good quality is a treat), but that's a pretty vital part to be missing. Liz Reed takes up 38 minutes of the 3rd cd, so it's not like they ran out of room. I bought 2 cds of last year's United Palace run the same night, and they had the encore, plus the P.A. playing Little Martha afterwards. What gives?

30. I would normally scoff at a price like that for anyone else, but considering that it's 3 cds, and you (normally) get such a full show on it, I think it's worth it.

I wonder if Robert Randolph is not agreeing to being on the CD

I dont see why. They have cds of every Beacon show from 2009, which had an enormous amount of guests. Everyone appears on cd. He has no problem letting his songs go on movies, video games, and t.v. shows, so I doubt he would have an issue with an Allman live recording.

Did you get in touch with live Nation or whoever is burning them? They usually have a website, and while they often are slow at fixing their problems, they are pretty apologetic and generous. Perhpas it was an oversight and they will more than likely want to make it right.

During the 2009 run one of my cds was blank; i brought it back a few days later and it was replaced witha smile--if you're not going to any more shows send an email to munckmix and I'm optimistic that it will be taken care of

GregB86,one time I ordered instant live and the quaility of the cd's was awful I called their number and had to send it back paying shipping charges out of my own pocket which they never reimbursed me for I have never ordered from HTN since.I like munckmix much better.for 15.00 you can download it on the spot.

My experiences have been good ones. Sometimes a bit slow in response, but I'm sure its an accident. Just contact them and they'll take care of you.

I'm guessing it's a copying problem and not a rights issue. If you get in touch with MunckMusic I expect they'll help you out. My copy of 3/14 has a few dropouts and I'll probably ask them if I can get that replaced or download the track. Unfortunately it happens sometimes when you're making hundreds of CDs in 15 minutes.

EDIT: Just to make it clear, the CDs at the Beacon are MunckMusic, not Instant Live. Instant Live was acquired by Live Nation and it's now dead and buried.

if you can wait a day or two after the show downloading from MunckMusic for $15 is the way to go. I already have a couple shows from this run and there are no problems.

I bought a Raleigh show several years back and was listening to it on the drive home. I played Disc 1 no pblms., played Disc 2 no pblms., popped in Disc 3 and it was Disc 2. I had no Disc 3 at all. Of course, I had to wait until the end of the summer tour, but I contacted them and they sent me disc 3 free of charge and let me keep disc 2 which I gave to a fan of the band. Slight hassle...but now I check 'em in the parking lot b4 I leave to make sure all is correct. Never had a problem since.

I had a problem with a disc I bought at a show in Atlantic City, NJ in Nov. One disc wouldn't play in my car cd, I tried another cd player with the same results. When I got home I put it in the computer and saw that it was a blank disc. I emailed Munckmusic, and they told me to send my address and they'd replace it. I had no trouble with that at all.

Munck Music responded incredibly fast, so I'm confident that the replacement will be fine.

And I'm not a download guy at all, otherwise I would go that route. I dont even own an ipod or MP3 player. No interest in it.
