Are they selling Munckmix CDs at the Beacon? I'm going tomorrow night and need to plan for expenses. It was great to walk away with the UP shows last year.

They are selling the CDs there. I saw the table but did not look at what the deal was beyond that.

Maybe I shouldn't comment since I won't be attending any of the shows or springing for Moogis this year but this run reeks of a big old cash grab. Pretty depressing.

$35? Thanks but no thanks. Wonder what the cost will be when HTN offers them up?

The CDs were $30 each, and we got them about 20 minutes after the show ended.

30 bucks is ridiculous. What a cash grab.

For years we heard there were no instant live discs at the Beacon because union costs made it too expensive to record them. Now they finally did it, and no surprise, the CDs are expensive. Yeah, $30 is a lot. If you want and buy it from MunckMusic online I'm sure it'll be less. The Palace shows cost $14.95 each, I see.

So. What is the difference between a $30/35 IL, and an almost free copy by a taper in the audience?

Unfortunately, living in NC and luckily being employed, I couldnt get to the Beacon. So..I don't give a hoot, if they are less than $50 I'll buy 'em. If they are more than $50, I'll buy a few less. But at least I will be able to hear the music. Discs last a long time if ya take care of 'em. Can't wait till they go on sale.

About $29 or $34 bucks I guess.

What did the "Beacon Box" cost again?

IL is a soundboard, taper is audience recording

Exactly right. I'll wait. I just really enjoy listening to the show over again the next day. There's always Moogis.
