I listened to this instrumental for the first time in a long time ..I can't imagine how great this song would sound with oteil, derek and warren playing it.

Not to mention Dickey, Duane, Andy & Pedro... -- would love to see this see the stage again too, it's one of the highlight of this band's career the 4/20/79 jam of this song (ROOK -- BASS SOLO)

Pegasus is one of Dickys classic instrumentals. Would LOVE to hear the current lineup play it.

I believe I'm with Stephen on this one. The current lineup has litterally used all the Dickey tunes that it should feel right in doing so ... maybe more than they should've. "Pegasus" is a great tune. I believe Butch's failed studio venture was the inspiration. Perhaps the current lineup could write one and call it "Moogis."

Bringing back "From The Madness Of The West" would be cool too.
I could even deal with a SHORT JaBuMa in the middle of it.

Funny that this song is being mentioned, because it is on the radio right now, thanks WZLX.
Now that I have just heard that song for the first time in years, yes bring it back!

Love Pegasus, but I'd vote for True Gravity first. Derek was amazing on this one in 1999/2000 and Warren co-wrote the song. It's a classic that Warren, Gregg, Butch and Jaimoe were all a part of recording (and Marc added his flavor to it over the years as well).

We got Kind of Bird last year so I can only hope...

Second that but ... as I said before I believe the song derives its title from a Butch venture and that'd be enough for Dickey not to want to play it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Butch's studio venture was mid-late '80s during the hiatus.

ABB or DB&GS should bring this back. I'm all for "From The Madness Of The West" too. I love both. We'll probably get more Van Morrison and The Band covers instead.
