450 bucks from the same folks who just gave us "free live Grateful Dead MP3's"?
450 clams for Europe 72 which every deadhead already has the soundboards?
Yeah, I did see this coming.

I was wondering what the price would be when I first saw the description.

Wow.

If I had the $$$ to spare I would but $450 can buy alot of stuff that I need much more than the Europe 72 boxed set.

That and the wife would have me sleeping out with the dog and would never let me forget about spending that much change on CD's

My first Grateful Dead tour - tempting indeed because I can't remember much of the shows

The Grateful Dead store was all hosed up yesterday with the jam of folk trying to order this 'limited edition'.

There was a previous limited edition box set of other shows that sold out and were being offered on ebay for $800 or so... folk who got locked out of that offering are going nuts trying to get this one....

The amazing thing about the Grateful Dead is that they recorded EVERYTHING right from the outset. Really innovative.

Well, I have been waiting a long time for this. I can't afford it, but I'll find a way.

I don't know if it beats the Beacon Box, but if there was ever one GD release I would ever want to happen it would be this!
