Just 2 clips of the same section - but from different cam angles - same ol' Love Valley footage - just this time with a small bit of SBD audio that's out there - you can hear Berry now Enjoy folks - it sure was a bugger to sinc up

Cool video of how Duane gets the bird chirps with his slide.

Excellent job scotiadave.Man,I just realized that Duane turned the bottle on the bottom side at the bottom pickup making the birdcalls.

Yeah I was glad when I first saw that angle too, which has been on some of ScotiaDave's other uploads. When I was younger and learning how to do stuff like that all I had was a DVD with one angle, and it switches to Dickey for the whole duration of the bird calls.

That is really great video footage. That festival in summer 1970 took place not too far from where I am now in North Carolina.

I had tried to do the bird calls for many, many years, it never sounded quite right. Then I saw this footage a few years ago and realized he wasn't actually picking the strings. Now that's how's it's done !

Agreed...if you watch carefully at the video, you can see toward the end(after the bird calls)(and Duane did not switch pups either) the pickup switch is pointing downward, which is the bridge pup.

Man, this make me jones for more footage of the Duane-Berry ABB! Anybody hear anything further on the Atlanta Pop Festival? I recall Randy Poe saying he saw it and it's amazing.

I'm not familiar with the story....
Why is there only a "small bit" of soundboard audio out there?
Is that all that has "escaped", or does it just not exist??
Thanks!
