I have Comin' Atcha Live but I'm trying to decide what other ones to get. I really like that one. I also have X2 and a bunch of Blue Floyd stuff, but Amazon has several Johnny Neel albums and I want to use some of my Amazon gift card to buy one or two of his solo CDs. Any recommendations?

Also, is Jack Pearson on any of them? I'd want those first I think.

For reference regarding the performers on his albums:

Scroll down on the left side of the page to the "Johnny Neel" recordings.

I'm considering Johnny Neel solo albums other than Comin' Atcha Live and his duo record with Matt Abts called X2 since I already have those.

Just making sure you did mention his Blue Floyd stuff so that made me wonder if you knew he was on Seven Turns.

Johnny used to play quite a bit in a bar where I worked in NYC. I had a few interesting late nights with him. He was/is quite a crack up.

Johnny had a CD called Late Nite Dinner or something like that. I've got it around here somewhere ... Had Shane Theriot (Neville's guitarist) on it. Shhhhmmmmoooooooookin'!!!
Johnny may be a little "out" there but can play the sh*t outta the keys, blow a harp, sang and write songs. "It Ain't Over Yet" is probably one of the best ABB songs that'll never get played. Why??? I don't know.

I'm partial to the first cd [ that I know of ].... Johnny Neel & The Last Word
Saw him alot during this period, then my second is Comein' Atcha.......

I was in the photo on the back cover of the band setting at the bar..... well... I was at the bar when they shot the photo anyway......

Went both nights of the recording , it was great....

I think " The Last Word " is out of print ......

I think I'm going with Late Night Breakfast and a 2CD/DVD set Amazon has of the Criminal Element. Thanks for the input everyone. I'm sure any of them are good, but I'm trying to get more bang for the buck.

Criminal Element collection is here if anyone's interested:
