So, what's everyone planning on eating Christmas Day? I'm going to my grandmother's and she's making chili for sure, and maybe burritos, tamales, and some spanish rice as well. That will be good, but I'm really ready for her homemade ginger snaps that she makes every year!! Those are Delicious!!!!!!!!!!!

Man, I really miss my grandma and Christmas dinner at her house. Enjoy every second, because it'll never be the same after she's gone...Well, in my case anyway.

I'll be doing up a rabbit for Christmas Eve and looking forward to it.

Uhh ... Feliz Navidad! Sounds like quite a spread! Y'all don't need no extra amigos, do ya?

FYI - to all in Birmingham who might be experiencing Christmas day blues - head over to the Garage Cafe where Jimmy W will be serving home made tamales all day long!

I've never had ham with dr. pepper poured over it. Guess it has a sweet flavor to it.

is antipasto the opposite of pasto?

or just the lack or pasto?

should one fear the coming of anitpasto?

I am doing the cooking as always. A nice 7 1/2 pound Prime Rib is sitting in my fridge waiting to be seasoned and roasted. Along with it will be mashed potatoes, asparagus, and warm dinner rolls. Baked clams from a local fish store for an appetizer.
