Did anyone else catch this interview? Waters comes across as a very deep thinking individual with a lot to say, being interviewed by a guy who had no idea when to attempt being funny and when to let Roger talk.

If anyone else had been given this op. this could have been an amazing interview.

I'm sorry, but imho, Conan is a bozo.

I'm not much of an RW guy but he knows his craft. I agree with you about Conan O'Brian. He really is a bozo. He plays a Strat... what do you expect!

I really could care less about Roger Waters and Floyd, BUT any Late Night Talk show is really not the kind of forum Roger Waters should be interviewed in. It seems like that is kinda like a no brainer up front.

I think Conan plays a Les Paul also

I didn't see the interview, but you'd think given Conan is such a fan of music, he'd let someone as accomplished and serious about the craft as Roger Waters do most of the talking and not attempt to be funny. I realize comedy is important to the show, but it isn't always necessary. But hey, he's got a show and I'm blabbering on the internet so what do I know?

Saw it. And felt uncomfortable for Conan (who handled himself like someone who had forgotten to take his meds) and Roger (who could barely answer a question or get a word in edge-wise with Tigger interviewing him). Was glad to hear him mention that he has been honoring our service men during this tour of The Wall by personally meeting with them backstage during breaks from the show and also of involving children in this production (because I saw the show - those kids love it and can you imagine being 10 and on stage with Roger Waters performing Teacher? )

I was surprised Waters went on the show. I wonder if he regrets it. Charlie Rose would do a good interview with Waters.

I thought both were at fault for that horrible interview.

Saw it, sorry I stayed up for it.
They should have just axed the interview and have Roger play a few tunes on his Acoustic.

Just watched it, I didn't think it was that bad.

How I wish, how I wish he had played

Roger should have gone on Craig Ferguson. He's much more tasteful and knows when it's appropriate to be goofy. Plus, he doesn't rely on a cue card for interviews. He says that if he needed questions written for him to talk to people then he shouldn't have that job. It baffles me how all the other hosts rely on the pre-interview.

It's not like Waters is an easy interview. These are comedy shows after all. I've seen him on Fallon and Conan and his attitude comes across that he expects to be tonguebathed by individuals too, not just the masses.

A very good one. Nice long interview.

Another great idea but short unfortunately. Best late night show for Roger though. Maybe he will be on at some point.

Didn't see it but Waters is a pretentious sod with a very high and serious opinion of himself and Conan is a goofball so it would be like oil and water I would imagine.

This is exactly what I was thinking...
