Does anyone know where or if I can find a poster size replica of the Fillmore East album cover? I've looked all over the web and check ebay from time to time and I haven't found much of anything besides a maybe poster that's being sold from Japan. In the final scene in Almost Famous where Russell comes to the kid's room to be interviewed, I swear he has a poster of the Fillmore East concert and I want to get my hands on one.

Thanks.

I have one. Bought it in '71 or '72. I think it was the "Great Southern"
company that produced it. They were the company printing the t-shirts
and posters for the ABB in the '70's. I have it rolled up, think I should get it matted,
or something. It was/is my favorite poster ever. I purchased it just after seeing
them in '71.

The poster in Almost Famous was a mock up of the band called Stillwater, to look
like the Fillmore East poster.

Thanks for the info guys. That's a cool story about the vintage poster.... and I guess I need to watch Almost Famous a little more closely... funny though they did that.

Now where to get $250...

I have a framed poster that came in the original Fillmore album of the band, from an outtake of the picture on the cover. It is about 3ft x 2ft approx b&w. It is inspiring.

there may be no harm and as kewl as that poster would be on the wall in my den, it isn't rigt/legal for somebody to go to kinko'a and say "blow this this up to 34" x 36" and frame it
