An event that mixed sorrow with joy, and gave us a chance to express our love to the Seaman Family. They took over a local bowling alley, and several hundred of Tyler's friends and family were there.

After some happy moments of bowling, Gary spoke, and opened his heart to us all. Many of Tyler's camp friends had funny stories of days spent with Tyler. Marley told us about growing up with Tyler, and how they shared their lives.

Tyler's Mom, Diane, spoke openly and honestly of the past four years. Her speech was full of grace, joy and pain. She asked us all to remember Tyler as we go on with our lives, and to do good things with him in mind. It moved many people to tears.

We saw some pictures of the whole family through the years. Tyler's favorite music played through the P.A. system.

Thanks to the family for allowing us to share these moments with them.

Mitch

Thank you for sharing this Mitch. I thought of you all and just knew that it would be a blessed celebration with many emotions involved of course. I saw Terri's pictures and enjoyed that very much. We will all hold Tyler up in the light as well as continued prayers and comfort out to all of the Seaman family, relatives and friends... God Bless!

It was a moving, yet fun celebration. I'm still amazed at the HUGE number of kids who turned out to celebrate Tyler. That was beautiful.

Thanks for sharing this Mitch. Tyler and his family were on my mind as I sat at the Thanksgiving table with my own family ... knowing that there would be a celebration the next day to celebrate that extraordinary young man's life. Bless the Seamans and all who loved Tyler. I'm sure he was present there yesterday, too, and enjoying every minute.

Well said, Mitch. Thanks to Gary and Diane for inviting us back to the house. Here's a photo of a beautifully done mural from Tyler's room that shows his love of the ABB.

Thanks for sharing this Gary. You're right ... Marley wrote a beautiful tribute to his brother. Your family remains surrounded in a blanket of love and comforting thoughts and your Tyler lives on in many hearts and minds. We do all shine on ...

What a moving tribute Marley wrote about his brother. Can't get through that without tearing up. What an impact Tyler had in just 18 short years.

Thinking and praying for the Seamans.
