Last night show was awesome. Took a newbie with me and he was very satisifed. Both Done Somebody Wrong and Don't Keep Me Wonderin had extended jams included. Love the new twists to both tunes. Hot Lanta was its usual great self. I love that ending. From the fourth row I was able to see all the musicians look at each other and get locked in and then the Allman Symphony comes to a complete halt. Incredible tune. My second time seeing the band play Cowboy's All My Friends. Love that tune. It sure is becoming one of my favorites. Second time seeing Bill Evans on sax. His jazz sensibility paid off as he fit right in with the band on Dreams and Liz Reed. The second set began and I had my money on Melissa as I saw Gregg's acousic guitar being tuned up. To my surprise comes Muddy Waters "I Can't Be Satisifed". WOW. They nailed it especially Derek as I still can't get the slide part out of my head. Into The Mystic had a new twist to it as well with a cool outro jam. Very good. The band sure was Hittin The Note last night. Can't wait for Saturday night in AC.

Thanks for the review. I heard rumors that Derek might not be playing with the Brothers.
It was great to hear he's back.

It was a great show, no signs of extended time off. I was expecting Hoochie Coochie Man in honor of BO, but not to be.

I thought they'd do that too. I wish they did.

Have seen Don't Keep Me Wondering many times but last night was a favorite. Dreams was another cooker. Seemed like Derek owned the 1st set and Warren the 2nd. I was a little underwhelmed on Why Does Love... it never seemed like that song never took off like I was hoping. Was great to see Gregg back last night. When he was on he was on but when he wasn't....what happened on Every Hungry Woman? Great crowd and great night of music overall.
