"I hope everyone remembers INXS?" wow .. that just doesn't sound right to me ;-)

Bit biased maybe being Aussie - but yes, love INXS. They are still performing (albeit with JD Fortune (again) and not Michael)

Down there they are known as a legendary Oz-Rock group and still fill Stadiums (even without Michael) - though nowhere near as popular. I think they are still pretty popular in other parts of the world. Obviously just not Germany (or wherever it is your good self may be from) ;-)

I went to Las Vegas for the tour when JD won the competiion it was a really good show. But i thought after the tour the band kicked him out because he was trying to change the INXS sound.

One of my all-time favorite bands. Hutchence was a badass.

Not that i dislike them but they "just don't do it for me". On the 4th of july 1991 they played my hometown in the Netherlands. Big hall, they were very popular. I happily missed the show in order to see my all time favorite concert: The Allman Brothers Band
in Cologne, Germany.

LOVE INXS... No, we didn't forget them. There are so many great albums... from the very early ones to the later ones.

great band, great live concerts...check out the Live Baby Live dvd concert.
have all of there stuff and them some, see them every time they play in the city thru the years.
from what I see on the bands web site they have a new cd on the way and a tour to go with it. I think Switch was a real nice cd and Andrew Farris did a real nice job writing
the hole thing. I have to give them all the credit in the world for staying together and keeping the band going. Good for them. ~peace~

I was lucky enough to see them at my college in maybe 1988. I had not really taken much note of them, but got a free ticket. They had released "Kick" and had booked dates at smaller venues; I guess by the time they reached our school, the album had really taken off, and they were playing bigger places, but they fulfilled their obligation to do this date. I had my hands on the stage - Hutchence was a real showman, just owned the room. Great voice. Tight funky band.
"Kick" is the only CD I have by them, but it is very good.

I still remember when Michael Hutchence died in 1997. He was 37. I was shocked by the news.

I was a big INXS fan. They were one of my favorite bands in the 1980s. I was supposed to go and see them in concert in July of 1986,but something came up, and I was unable to attend. However, I did get to see them two years later on the Kick tour. Top-notch band;intelligent songs. Such a sexy sound. Michael was a great vocalist and performer. So sad how things turn out.
