Mission Accomplished.

The tea party and the Republicans, the party of no, has now become the party of "no fcking way". Now we will see if the Progressives become the party of "no", or will they bend to will of the people and the mandate that was issued with these midterms?

I would be stunned if Obama the fascist now becomes Obama the capitalist?

Calling tea party representatives "teabaggers", calling republicans the party of "no", and blaming Bush and telling the Conservatives to get in the back of the bus clearly did not get the job done.

Time to man up, Dude!

JPB, your "I hate all of them" rhetoric as been turnt to total BS in thel ast 12 hours. You are just as partisan as everyone else, and by far and away the biggest Glenn Beck fan here, obviously.

You can keep acting like eveyone in DC is no good, but you choose sides like everyone else does.

Just for the record.

The Progressives (Obama) and the Republicans (Bush) have driven this country into the ground. There is no difference between the two. The Progressives took over the democratic party years ago and now the Tea Party is taking over the Republican party.

I am all for Blue dog democrats and true conservative republicans.

Stop bankrupting our country.
Stop the wars.
Stop the lobbyist.
Stop the bailouts.
Stop printing our currency into oblivion (QEII).

I'm never embaressed to be an American, I may not be happy with the direction this country takes periodically, but I would not trade it for anything.

There's a thread from back in January called:

Glenn Beck: 01/13/10 SARAH PALIN inverview

In which you stated things like:

quote:
I don't think Beck is bought by the CFR, O'Reilly on the other hand is a cfr stooge.

and...

quote:
Glenn is clearly not in the club. Anyone can see that.

Also in that thread, you posted what appear to be dozens of youtube clips of Beck's show.

What changed your mind?

As am I. However, the tea party is in for a rude awakening as the people who really run the show in the Republican party will caste them aside. The corporate interests used them and now will jettison them like yesterdays newspaper.

Rand Paul says there will be a Tea Party Caucus. Does anyone know offhand the number of avowed Tea Partiers that won a seat last night?

I just took a step back and after looking a little closer at Beck made the observation that he was "in the club". Just like Rush is. I have always said they love divide and conquer. Beck and Rush are part of that equation.

Just like I watch MSNBC's Morning Joe to hear what the White House and the Progressives are saying, I watch Beck for the same reason. I rarely listen to Rush. They love propoganda and I like to listen to both the Progressives on the left and the Republicans on the right.

I would probably, not surprisingly, say that Alex Jones has nailed it.

bingo..
Start producing our own goods
Start making education a priority by eliminating tenure for teachers and a curved grading scale that promotes students that didn't really pass
Start putting spending limits on campaigns and on fundraising
Start eliminating healthcare for non citizens and illegals
Start changing the mindset that 35% voter turnout is acceptable in this nation

To start with, there are too many political parties which blurs the lines of who they are and what they are about. On the ballots in NY yesterday we had the Democrats, Republicans, Conservatives, Independents, Working Families, Taxpayer Revolt (TXP), Libertarian (LBT), Anti-Prohibition Party (APP), Rent is 2 Damn High (RDH), Green Party (GRN), Freedom Party (FDM), Constitution Party (CST).

Most of these parties simply endorsed candidates from the Republican or Democratic parties for the major positions, except of course for the Governor's Race where they all had their own candidates.

When you look up the planks and stands these parties have on the issues, you find similarities on most of them. I found this to be the case between the Conservative and Constitution Party, the Independent and Libertarian also shared similar goals. So what is the distinctive difference between these parties?

The lines are so blurred that yesterday people in an act of disgust voted for people they knew hardly anything about from parties that are new. Kristin Davis (the former Madam who says she provided prostitutes to our former Governor) got 22,774 votes in her Candidacy for Governor. Jimmy McMillan (The Rent is 2 Damn High) got 39,850 votes, Howie Hawkins (Green Party) got 56, 867, Charles Barron (former Black Panther) got 20,716 for his Freedom Party.

There needs to be clear distinction of who these parties are, what they stand for and there should be major differences so people can make intelligent choices. I personally think all we need is the Democratic, Republican, Constitution and Green Parties. The Constitution should absorb the Conservative Party. The Tax Revolt and the Tea Party are not clearly defined, they should merge into one party if their whole issue is Taxes.

Why do we need all these parties? To confuse people, make it easier for a one world government to be implemented when all the parties just split the voters into little blocs so that their dissolution has no real meaning anymore? That is probably where it is headed.

Having worked very closely for about 12 years with engineering colleagues in Buc France and getting to know them and learn more about their country I think you are incredibly off base with this criticism. They have it made, great social services, great health care, they put family and quality of life above all other priorities, I wish we were more like them.

Glad I live in NY is all I will say. All of my candidates won.

I am also glad that there were enough smart Americans to not elect any of the whackadoo crazy candidates like Angle, O'Donnell, and Pallidino or the crazy hypocrite candidates like Whitman, Miller, and McMahon. At least some are able to separate the real candidates from the phony ones regardless of party affiliation. Scary that those candidates got any votes at all.

I agree with this. It should be interesting to sit back and watch how the tea partyers and the Republican machine get along now that they have to try and work together.
