I believe the back at the Beacon part, the next album though, is another story...

You're right. Gregg has never promised an ABB recordi ng and not delivered.

Still wouldn't hold my breath for another ABB recording. Remember Gregg is just one member of that band, and other members have other priorities beyond the ABB. Still it's good to hear that the ABB plans to be back at the Beacon.

This sounds like a great Blues album and I'm going to buy it the week it comes out. And maybe if we all buy up lots of Gregg's new album, the Brothers (and his new record company) will all have a strong motivation to record another record. Remember, it is a miracle that Gregg can even walk and talk, let alone belt out the Blues at the Beacon again!

Maybe coming face to face with mortality this year lit some fire under him to make more music. I hope a new ABB recording is in the works.

I think ALL the members of the ABB would sit up and listen if T-Bone Burnett told them he wanted to produce their next recording.

Every bit as reliable as a Costa Rican working girl.

It really amazes me what T-Bone Burnett has had his hands on lately: Robert Plant/Allison Krause's "Raising Sand", the new Leon Russell/Elton John, the new Elvis Costello, and I'm sure much, much more that I'm not aware of. I was spinning a great old Los Lobos disc the other day, "By The Light Of The Moon"........had never even noticed before, "Produced by T-Bone Burnett".
