Anyone see this? A GREAT one hour interview with Willie.

Willie went into great detail on his marijuana smoking and his pro-legalization stance. He said he switched from cigarettes to pot many years ago. He said that marijuana has much less harmful effects than cigarette smoke. He did admit however that he smoked so much weed that he developed congestion and wheezing so he switched to a vaporizer which eliminated that.

King: Do you have any problem smoking a few joints and then going out onstage and performing?
Nelson: No. But I've got more of a tolerance for it than most.
King: Did you smoke pot today?
Nelson: Yes.
King: Before you came in here?
Nelson: Yes.
King: So you've got pot in you right now.
Nelson: Yes. You could arrest me (puts his arms out towards King).

All this on CNN. Gotta love that Willie. Willie's appearance to me is a great ad for marijuana. He's 77 now and he looks GREAT. Not to mention, hair still down to his ass.

I saw that interview a couple months ago. Last night it repeated. Willie did a real nice interview, and he was quite articulate. It's obvious he's been around the scene a long time and knows how to answer questions - some with a good bit of detail and some with high level responses. He doesn't go where he doesn't want to. At 77 years old Willie still has plenty of recall for names, dates, and detail of his musical career. He's given great stuff to the music biz, and count me in his corner as a fan.

Great interview... so far. I DVR-ed it and watched about half of it before getting sidetracked. It was from mid-April.

I watched some of it last night and most of it when it first aired.

I think King's mind is going. His questions seem to jump all over the place and there is
no sense of continuity in his interviews.

I watched it in April and again last night. I'm no fan of Larry King, but he got one thing right, everybody loves Willie Nelson. The duets w/ King I could have done without though!

Kings mind left town a long time ago. Willie is the man though.

Willie is the man. Was fortunate enough to catch one of his shows recently. He must've signed 100 autographs, and shook as many hands, before he left the stage. Class act and great musician. An American treasure.
