I was hoping for the House of Blues but we're already spoiled this fall so I really can't complain.

Well, I can, just won't get any sympathy.

I guess he must be feeling better! Definitely good news for the fans.

Looks like they are keeping this tour pretty close together, no long travel days, mostly in the Northeast, much like the ABB tour in November. I can see how 500 mile bus rides aren't conducive to good health, so that is probably a smart move.

You have to give Gregg credit for being so eager to get back out on the road after such a major surgery. Nobody would have blamed him for taking longer, but it's just in his blood to play music and it seems like he can't wait to get back to doing what he loves.

Do you think Gregg loves the road or does he need the cash?

Someone else stated that Gregg has millions. I don't know how much he has, but I do remember reading an interview with him maybe 5 years ago where he said, "I certainly don't need the money". I'm glad to hear that, and I think most of that has come from all the touring since the band reunited in 1989. Before that, I believe most of the band members were not doing very well financially at all, but then I'm not really in a position to know. Personally I think Gregg is one of those people who has a burning desire to perform, it's a huge part of his nature, and it's not for the $$$.

so anybody with a job for 40 years has millions? i'm not saying gregg doesn't but without knowing anything about the bands record contracts over the years or what they make per gig and how it is split you are just guessing

if Gregg doesn't have health insurance this hepetitis & liver transplant had to be very costly. Not that he doesn't enjoy playing live

westbury like the last tour when gregg had honeytribe open the
show, this time around they each have a new cd on the way

It's great to see gregg doing so well, good for him and good
