As a big Jeff Beck fan, I would welcome a release with Rod, but the material is key. I am looking forward to hearing more about the direction the collaberation will take.

Always love Jeff's comments at a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction ceremony, something like:

"Rod and I have a love hate relationship. He loves me and I hate him."

sitting in a a couple of songs? bfd!. maybe you dont remember, but you were not born yet most likely. they tried to tour together in 1983-or 84 Jeff quit the tour after a few gigs, and said "I will never work with rod stewart again".

rod and jeff were very different back then. rod also never said tour he said album which with today's technology in recording they don't even have to be in the same country to write a song together and get it recorded

People grow up, people change, people recognize their own mortality. If the material is right and Rod can still sing some blues, I'm all in.

It's interesting to see how so many musicians of that generation are coming full-circle in their careers by reuniting with former bandmates.

If only John and George were around,
imagine the possibilities.

Actually in Rolling Stone magazine , Roger mentions that him , David & Nick might do a "one off" like a Live 8 for charity with just them on the bill but NOT A TOUR . Roger also regrets that this couldn't come to fruition prior to Richard Wright's death in 2008 .
