Yeah man. The Runt was the shizzle back in the day. His early stuff is incredible. Saw him a few times with Utopia live. First set they all came out in black jeans, white t-shirts and tennis shoes with a backdrop curtain behind them. They did all the old Todd rock stuff. They took a intermission and drew the curtain for the second set. Full chrome pyramid and laser light show. It was incredible. I had been listening to the Utopia album religiously and the show did most of the Utopia stuff.

Todd's solos were breathtaking at times.....

Long time fan of Todd. Had all of the Nazz albums, first on vinyl, then on cd. Especially like Nazz Nazz. Also a big fan of his solo stuff, especially Runt and Ballad of Todd Rundgren, although I probably kind of lost interest at some point during the Utopia period. Haven't listened to much of his recent stuff but admire that he's still going strong after all these years.

I know. The Utopia stuff was really over the top on the techno stuff. But for some reason I just loved the Utopia album. I was into the ABB, all southern rock, Aerosmith, etc., but somehow that album just caught my attention....

Maybe it was da we-ed.....

i just saw him here in buffalo 2 weeks ago ~ great show! he & the guys he played with did some of his songs & a tribute to robert johnson's library ~ they played well together & were on top of their game. he's very personable. i've always liked him too, put out some great tunes back in the day & he still seems to be rockin' on with no holdin' back!

Love Todd! Last saw him locally about 7 years ago (maybe 10 ... time slips away ...) and he put on a great show.

Todd Rundgren is a brilliant musician, writer/composer, arranger and producer. Other than that he sucks
