I have quite a few including "Seven Turns". Also love "All Night Train" just
because the line "My Eyeballs feelin' Like Two Balloons". Been there!
I'll also include "Instrumental Illness".
And just about every song on "Shades Of Two Worlds". Very underated album IMO.
Ok,...........So that's more than one. :-)

If I can pick a live version of one of those songs, I'll go with Seven Turns, as performed on MTV Unplugged 1990, but there are lots of classics.

(Runner ups: No One To Run With, End of the Line, High Cost of Low Living, Desdemona, True Gravity, Back Where It All Begins, Soulshine, Come in My Kitchen, Kind of Bird, Old Before My Time [studio version only on that last one])

If I had to pick only one song from that period I guess it would be "No One To Run With" - live or studio...

Since it's just one, I gotta go with "Nobody Knows"

I know they didn't write it, but I really like their version of Woman Across The River.

Pretty cool thread....

Never been one to think this was a great period for the guys....Imho, One solid album can be culled from 7 Turns, Shades & Bwiab...Some really great tunes buries in there....That being said...

"End of line"...Fire, intensity, performance and prose....damn.

"No One left to run with"...Infectious rhythm, back beat & groove...right up there with "One way out"...

"Good clean fun"....Only because it is the one song I associate with the 1989 Re-union tour....Great times for a while...

Anyway, "End of The Line" is my clear cut winner....

I always loved "It Ain't Over Yet", though its probably not the best of the bunch, but certainly underrated

Hands down, Nobody Knows. For whatever reason, Gregg won't sing it unfortunately. The only time I've ever seen them do it live was the first time I went to the Beacon in 2000 and Dickey sang it.
