There are a number of us migrating to ChicagoLand for the Crossroads Festival on 6/26. Looking forward to seeing some of the local folks too!

Chicagofan (Julie) and her husband run the Taste of Peru and a number of us are very interested in eating there on the Friday night before the concert, June 25th. She has suggested that, if possible, we arrive close to 4 PM and then we should be able to dine (with the place pretty much to ourselves) and be done by the time the evening crush of customers arrives, ~ 7 PM.

Lee has also mentioned since Julie's place is further north in Chicago that folks might want to consider Albert Lee's show at Martyr's Friday night, a small historic blues venue also in northern Chicago. It is billed as Albert Lee with special guests (in other words, other Crossroads performers although it is unclear just who that might be). I believe Lee mentioned tickets are $25 and should be purchased in advance as the show will undoubtedly sellout.

So, as a help to Julie so she knows approximately how many All-maniacs will be invading Peru that evening, please sign up below and indicate how many will be in your (our) party.

Also, I'll have an area for people interested in the Albert Lee show, but remember, you're responsible for getting your own tickets and it's recommended to get them in advance.

Looking forward to this so much! Renewing old friendships and starting some new ones!

Was that what the .33 was for? I was thinking maybe Alan is a big dude.

Looks like you can take the el there.....just catch the Howard line and get off at the Loyola (University) stop and walk west about 3 or 4 blocks. No need to drive.

Have a great time....ain't nothing like Chicago in the summer!

I'm glad I got on this list early, I'll tell you that.

Albert Lee's going to be looking out at an empty Martyr's wondering where everyone is.

I wouldn't miss him, if I were you.

I would LOVE to see that guy in a small club.

Man, you REALLY give up - and miss - a lot when you move from a big town like Chicago to a smaller city.

My place is small but we can hold about 50 or so. No issues, I'll close for the afternoon if needed so we can have a private Peach Party. We can re-arrange tables, relax, enjoy some good food and peruvian beer and wine. Then we head out for an evening of music. Here's hoping the weather Gods smile on us that weekend. Ain't nothing sweeter than a warm summer night in Chicago.
