Duane did not play at Electric Factory Theater's show.
You can listen many many slide guitar plays on this show but all is played by Eric.

Duane had played with Dominos only two shows, one is 12/01/'70 Curtis Hixon Hall show at Tampa. Rest is 12/02/'70 War Memorial Auditorium, Syracuse, but this show's recording is not circulated.

So that's it for D&D? I have all that is available? Crushing disappointment! Wonder if Clapton's got soundboards of those two shows.

There might be a third Derek & The Dominos show with Duane at Eastown Theater in Detroit on December 3, 1970.
I've posted the info I found on http://www.duaneallman.info/chronologypart3.htm and http://www.duaneallman.info/note143.htm

"I do remember seeing Clapton and Duane doing Little Wing at the sound check @ The Eastown Theatre in Detroit in the winter of `70-`71. It was 1 of the worst blizzards in years, the show was sold out and because of the weather only about 80 people showed up, the place holds 750. I don`t know or remember if this recording was made that night but they did have a portable studio (big step van) out side. They played like the place was packed, sweat pouring out like Niagra"

"if your saying that Duane did NOT tour with Derek & co. your are mistaken. I worked @ The Eastown Theatre from `70 -`72. And Duane Allman, Bobby Whitlock and Eric were there and playing on the stage during a fn blizzard in the winter of `70-`71. Now they may not have recorded Wing there but I am POSITIVE of who I saw and talked to on that night and DUANE ALLMAN PLAYED ON STAGE W/ CLAPTON AS DEREK AND THE DOMINOS that night"

Steve,

Thank you for the list. Honestly speaking, there are some more shows circulating.
Please refer to the following link my Japanese friend made.

http://www.mb.ccnw.ne.jp/clapton_room/information.file/Dominos_data.htm

This list is a bit old one but will be a little help to make your collection more complete.

Thank you for very very interesting info with the source. Greatly appreciated.
We are believed as Duane only played two shows with Dominos by Red Dog's note and Bobby Whitlock's post on the thread he made at following links.

Reading Bobby's thread I get the feeling that he believes that his word is now the sacred truth. But he still believes that Eric does all the slide work on "Anyday" and that Duane only plays standard guitar on the song. Add to that the self-admitted use of large amounts of intoxicants during the tour and I for one sometimes have to wonder just a bit about the accuracy of some of his statements from that period.

I'm late coming to this thread here (I don't actually think I've been on here in a couple of years!), having only just seen this info on a Steve Hoffman forum post - incredibly exciting news, although that should be tempered by the fact that, if there was a recording, we probably would have heard of it by now!

I don't suppose the Easttown Theater staff were like their brethren at the Filmmore East, and had a habit of surreptitiously recording the bands that came through town??

Anyway, I'd recommend people check out the above site - there's a good supporting anecdote to the Detroit date (I won't repost it here, though it'd be good if abbdiscography could add it in), as well as a ton of great more info on all other aspects of Duane's career. Highly recommended.
