Ok, I give, was it an invisible post?

By the way, Howe and Duane Allman share one honor: The Guitar Player Hall of Fame, Duane was inducted posthumously and Howe did it with five years in a row as best guitar player

Steve Howe would probably make some great music with the ABB. By the time he started playing professionally the "blues thing" had been nearly done to death in the U.K.. To his credit, he (and others around the same period) began looking for another base of influence. That's when the psychedelic and classically inspired bands started to arise. I've said before that Steve Howe is the most complete guitarist that I've ever seen.

I agree Rusty...Steve Howe is a "complete" guitar player. FIVE years in a row voted best "overall" by Guitar Player is quite an accomplishment. That is by far the best musician magazine and most reputable out there - I read it often. I would like to see great players from different types of music play together. Howe with The ABB or The Dead would be interesting indeed. How about Jimmy Herring, Derek or Jack Pearson playing with YES. Warren playing with Pearl Jam or Neil Young or something like it. How bout Derek in a pure Jazz setting, with an all time Jazz great. It would be cool to see how certain players known for a particular style would interpret something totally different than what they are used to. The possibilities seem endless...............

Eddie

Yes may tour with the Dead next year....not locked in yet, but being discussed. Would be great to see a jam with Howe Scarlet Begonias, and Phil Lesh doing the bass on Heart of the Sunrise

Cheers

I've seen Derek on a show called Studio Jams, where he is playing Jazz. Has anyone else seen these shows?

Allman, Trucks, Haynes, Herring, and Howe... Isn't that a law firm?

Wait.

I'm thinking about "Car Talk". Click & Clack's law firm is Dewey, Chetham, and Howe.
