I noticed on the commentary for that show that Warren couldnt make it so Jimmy sat in.

But it also said Gregg played guitar the entire night due to back problems.

I'm curious, anyone who was there....did he play acoustic?.. electric.. both?.. did he take a few solos or just play rythmn, etc etc.

I'm probably going to pick it up, so I can have a concert CD with Jimmy...as I've got a couple with Jack. But I'm just wondering if Gregg contributed to some of the guitar jams.

It was a white strat. I don't remember him doing much more than some rhythm parts.

first of all i would highly recommend the Instant Live CD. Really great show with Derek and Jimmy doing what they do best. Plus, you get the added bonus of have Danny Louis play keys for the whole show. The band really stretched out on several of the songs. (ie. Don't Keep Me Wonderin', Statesboro, Anyday > Blue Sky) The only thing that i really remember about Gregg's guitar playing is he started the One Way Out lick. The first 30-45 seconds are complete disarray.

Great show. Jimmy and Derek are wonderful together. Danny was tearing it up on keyboards also.

Gregg pinched a nerve moving a motorcycle and Warren's flight was delayed or canceled. 2 fingers on Gregg's right hand were temporallly paralyazed so he could play guitar with a pick but could not play keyboards.

so Danny Louis stepped up on keyboards and Jimmy did double duty with Panic and ABB on guitar.

down but not out the ABB pulled out a really good show.

I love it.

Danny played a bunch shows after that with them as Gregg worked his fingers back in shape.
and added a lot to the shows I think.

I was there. It was a great show. I missed Warren, but they handled it with EASE. It's always a treat when Jimmy plays with the band. And Danny...

Yes that was an awesome show, but Gregg was very low in the mix on guitar. Danny and Jimmy deff. get kudos for the short notice. I missed Warren too, but it's always good to hear the ABB.

But the Munck Mix or get an AUD recording - very good in an unusual way - even it just for the opening MJ
