Get the cushions wet or damp. Sprinkle comet or ajax kind of cleanser on them.
Let them sit for about 10 min. Get them a little damp again. Lightly scub them
with scrub side of a spounge. Then rinse them off with very strong stream of water.

Deluted simple green and water work well on vinyl straps
on chairs unless they are rust stained.

Using a paste of oxyclean and letting it sit after you scrub and then use a power spray to rinse it helps and its not hazardous to the plants and critters.

When i asked my golf cart friend about cleaning the seats on my golf cart, which have BAD mildew stains, he recommended using Simple Green, a reasonable non-toxic spray cleaner. I always used bleach n the past, but hate it because of its yucky environmmental issues (production of bleach products is pretty harsh environmentally, plus I HATE the smell!). So I tried it, by spraying the Simple Green on, letting it sit, and using a scrubbie on the seats. The doing it one more time. It did a pretty good job. Didn't eliminate all stains, but did clear up a lot of the severest blotches.......if I had spent even more time on them (NOT a priority, just wanna get them reasonably clean) they would look even better than they do now.

Simple Green is a good choice.....

Here is one I've used on a lot of things that works well too.......

I use it cleaning cabinets & such when painting.....[ I'm a Painter ]

You could check with a boat dealer about cleaning out door vinyl things too....

Good luck Tarzan.....

We use a pressure washer and it cleans the majority of the crud from the trees and pollen away. Then a medium bristled brush with some oxy clean or simple green (we use it on the boats and call it Suji Powder in the Coast Guard) gets whatever is left.

Here is my experience with patio furniture...doesn't matter how cheap or expensive it is, the Florida sun will absolutely ruin it regardless of quality.
