I have been watching this show since way back when it was new.....think in the late 70's - I have seen every season since and now it is in HD - an excellent PBS show that I have learned a lot from. And also Ask This Old House is equally as entertaining and full of great tips. Last week they did an extremely cool way to feed/attract birds. And I am watching now on my dvr a just-as-cool dude who clones plants.

I've seen quite a few episodes.

I still find it a challenge to pound a nail in straight.

I like This Old House, but I like Hometime better. That Dean Johnson sure has gone through a lot of women: Robin Hartl, Susanne Egli, JoAnne Liebeler, Peggy Knapp... In one episode he and JoAnne spent the night together in a house that he and Robin built a few years earlier. I thought that was pretty cold.

Love This Old House, Ask This Old House and The New Yankee Workshop. I ran into Norm Abrahms at the Smithsonian in DC and he was so gracious and friendly. He took pictures with us and seemed delighted that we recognized him. A class act!

Fan of all these shows. And Norm is the man. I also caught a bit of the cloning episode last weekend. I'd like to see it again in its entirety. I've always wondered how cloning is done properly. Sometimes I even miss the Bob Villa days. Then I remember what an annoying **** he sometimes was (just my opinion). I also miss the guy who initially replaced him. Steve something or other I believe? He wore glasses. I thought he was a great replacement. Saturday morning brunch isn't the same without This Old House and Hometime.

Love This Old House and any of those do-it-yourself home shows. Always looking at picking up tips since I happen to own an Old House and am doing many repairs and fix-ups myself.
